What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Jawla would collect, why, and the choices you have. Because Jawla is a demo today, it runs on sample data and does not process real payments or operate production accounts. The sections below describe the intended approach for the production release so there are no surprises later.

Data

Information we handle

  • Account details — basic profile information you provide so we can show your bookings and preferences. Sign-in is a demo experience today.
  • Booking requests — the service, date, party size and notes you send, so a partner can review and confirm availability.
  • Partner information — business profile, services and promotions that partners publish to the marketplace.
  • Support messages — anything you share when you contact the concierge for help.
  • Basic device/usage data — minimal technical data needed to run the site. No advertising trackers are used in this demo.

Purpose

How we use information

  • To send your booking requests to the relevant licensed partner and keep you updated.
  • To show your bookings, favorites and account in one place.
  • To respond to support questions and help with changes or cancellations.
  • To keep the marketplace safe and operate the service reliably.

Sharing

Who we share it with

To fulfil a booking request, the relevant details are shared with the partner you are requesting. We do not sell your information. In production, limited data may be shared with service providers that help operate Jawla (for example hosting), under appropriate agreements — those providers are not yet connected in this demo.

Payments

Payments and financial data

No payment is taken in the current flow and no card details are collected. Pricing shown is an estimate confirmed with the partner. When real payments are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe how payment data is handled by the chosen payment provider.

Your choices

Access, changes and deletion

You can review your bookings and account in the app. For help accessing, correcting or removing information, contact the concierge at concierge@jawla.ae. Production will add self-serve account controls.

Security

Keeping information safe

Jawla is a demo environment with sample data — please do not submit real personal or payment information. We do not claim any specific certification or encryption scheme here; a full security and data-protection review is part of the production launch.

Updates

Changes to this policy

We may update this draft as the product matures. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. A finalised, legally-reviewed policy will be published before production launch.
